- Contact your local council and obtain Asset Protection and also send me a copy of the permit. Talk to them if you have any concerns regarding oversized trees etc.
- Contact all of your utility companies and inform them that you require all abolishment’s to be disconnected for demolition of your property. Provide them with the date you will be evicting and inform them of when you wish for the abolishment to take place.

- Note: You need to give them plenty of notice, as this can take up to 4 weeks for them to come out to cut the power to the property.
- Remember to make clear to them the date and time and get the person’s name you spoke with. We suggest documenting your conversations for your records.
- In some previous experiences of ours, it has been evident that these companies can be complacent and misplace orders.
- Remember to tie RED RIBBONS or TAPE on any items you wish to keep, such as cubby house, sheds and trees.
- Once we have quoted the property, you cannot take items from the property, (see contracts), as it becomes the property and salvage of the Demolition Company.
- We do this, as we sell the salvage in each job (if there is any) to lower the quote of demolition to you.
- If you remove the goods before demolition unless contract states otherwise, you will be charged for the goods taken, to the second hand value of the salvage.
- Properties with less salvage have a higher demolition quoted price.
- Then we will take over and begin to obtain your permit, which could take up to 2-3 weeks.
- Please organise your temporary fence for the safety of your property if not quoted.
- When we are both ready, your house should take about 2-3 days to clear and demolish.
